As an Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) Part P approved domestic installer you have the peace of mind that not only are we fully Government authorised to carry out domestic electrical work in the UK, but that the work will comply with BS 7671 and shall be guaranteed by a warranty of standards.
We at ASM Electrical have a vast range of experience within the domestic sector, we offer a Design & Installation service for house developers & private residents. Offering various services to assist the householder with there electrical issues, we can advise on all aspects of electrics in the home.
All our installation work is tested and certified to BS 7671 and the relevant Local Building control office notified. You will receive an Electrical Installation Certificate which assures your house insurer and/or prospective buyer of the safety on any electrical work we have carried out.

Part P
From the 1st January 2006, the Law is changing. The Government has amended the Building regulations with a new Part P requiring all domestic electrical work to be carried out by a registered electrical contractor. All domestic electrical work in England and Wales will be enforced through local building control.
This has wide ranging implications- When it comes to selling a property or even taking out building insurance the home owner will be required to provide evidence in the form of certificated paperwork that all electrical work has been carried out to BS 7671 by a registered electrical contractor.
As an ECA approved domestic installer we are government authorised to carry out electrical work in your property.
